Step 1:When you download the ISO file, it acts like a virtual DVD. An ISO file is essentially a digital version of a physical disc. Instead of inserting a DVD into your computer, you can simply double-click on the ISO file, and the system will automatically mount it.

This creates a new virtual DVD drive, which you can access under “This PC” (or “My Computer”). It will look just like you inserted a physical DVD into your computer.

Step 2: After the ISO file is mounted, open the new virtual DVD drive that appears. Inside the drive, you will find the Office installation files. Locate the file named “setup.exe” in the folder.

This file is the main installer for your Office app. Double-click on “setup.exe” to launch the installation process.

Step 3: Once the installer opens, you will see a screen with two options to install Office 2013. The first option is “Install Now,” which will install all the default Office applications without requiring any additional steps. The second option is “Customize,” which allows you to choose specific applications or change the installation location.

If you are not looking for custom settings, click “Install Now” to proceed with the installation.

Step 4: After selecting “Install Now”, the installation process will begin. A progress bar will appear on your screen to show the installation status. At this stage, Office files are being copied and configured on your system. It is important not to close the window or interrupt the process during this time.

Step 5: The progress bar will continue to fill as the installation moves forward. Depending on the speed of your computer, this may take a few minutes. Be patient and wait for the process to finish completely.

Step 6: When the installation is done, a “Thank You” screen will appear. This confirms that Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 has been successfully installed on your system. At this point, you can click on “Continue Online” to access additional features, such as updates and online document storage. If you do not wish to continue online, you can simply close the window.

Important: Although the installer mentions Office Professional Plus 2013, the installed applications will depend on the options you selected earlier in the installation process. If you chose “Customize,” only the specific applications you selected (like Word, Excel, or PowerPoint) will be installed, and not the entire Office suite.

Step 7: To verify that Office is installed, open the Start Menu on your computer. You will see your applications like Word 2013, Publisher 2013, and PowerPoint 2013 listed as recently added programs. You can launch any of these applications to confirm that they are working properly.

Step 8: The first time you open any Office application, you will be prompted to activate the software. The activation screen will initially ask you to enter the email address or phone number associated with your Office subscription.

However, instead of entering this information, you should click on the “Enter a product key instead” option, which is highlighted in red at the bottom of the activation screen in the image. This option allows you to activate Office using the 25-character product key provided in your email receipt.

Step 9: Once you click on “Enter a product key instead,” a new screen will appear where you can type in your product key. After entering the key, click on “Install” or “Next” to complete the activation process.

This method ensures that Office is properly activated without requiring an email or subscription details.

Once the activation process is complete, your Microsoft Office application will be fully activated and ready to use. You can now open it and start working without any limitations. Your product is fully licensed, and all features are available for use.
