Step 1: Create Installation Media

1. Accept the License Terms:
   
   • When the Media Creation Tool starts, read and accept the terms.
2. Choose an Option:
   • Select Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) for another PC and click Next.
3. Select Language, Edition, and Architecture:
   • Language: Choose your preferred language.
   • Edition: Select Windows 10 Home.
   • Architecture: Choose 64-bit, 32-bit, or both depending on your PC. Click Next.
4. Choose Media Type:
   • USB Flash Drive: Select this if you want to create a bootable USB drive. Insert a USB with at least 8 GB of free space.
   • ISO File: Choose this to create an ISO file for later use (e.g., burning to a DVD).
5. Download and Create Media:
   • The tool will download Windows 10 Home and prepare the installation media.
   • For USB, it will directly create a bootable drive.
   • For ISO, save the file and use a DVD burning tool to create the installation disc.

Step 2: Install Windows 10 Home

1. Boot from Installation Media:
   • Insert the USB drive or DVD into the PC.
   • Restart the computer and access the Boot Menu (commonly by pressing F12, ESC, or DEL during startup).
   • Select the USB or DVD to boot from.
2. Follow the Setup Process:
   • Choose your language, time, and keyboard preferences, then click Next.
   • Click Install Now.
3. Enter Product Key:
   • Enter your Windows 10 Home product key. If you don’t have one, click I don’t have a product key and select Windows 10 Home to continue.
4. Choose Installation Type:
   • For a clean installation, select Custom: Install Windows only (Advanced).
   • Choose the partition to install Windows and format it if necessary.
5. Wait for Installation:
   • The installation process will copy files and restart your PC several times.

Step 3: Complete Setup

1. Create User Account:
   • Set up your user account name and password.
2. Choose Preferences:
   • Configure settings for privacy, updates, and Cortana.
3. Activate Windows 10 Home:
   • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation to activate Windows using your product key.
